Ross and North Bay are two distinct islands on the northern and eastern shorelines of Aberdeen harbor in Port Blair. Since both these islands are separated from Port Blair by sea, one has to take a private boat to reach these islands, which operates from Aberdeen Jetty (also called Water Sports Complex) in Port Blair.


In Port Blair, there’s a marina park area which has the Marina Jetty, where the boats leave from. It takes approximately 30 minutes to reach Ross Island, including boarding time. The boats operate under the law that requires them to return every passenger back to Port Blair the same day.
